About BX Studio
We launch sites, fast. BX Studio is a Webflow-exclusive agency offering custom development, site migration, and ongoing maintenance and support services. We're a fast-moving team that values ownership, attention to detail, and strong communication.
Role Overview
As a Senior QA Analyst at BX Studio, you are not just reviewing builds — you are taking full ownership of the QA process across all phases of the project. You are responsible for ensuring our QA work aligns with the broader web development lifecycle: from initial scope and design handoff through development, internal reviews, client UAT, and launch.
You’ll lead QA efforts across a range of project types, including full site builds, Webflow migrations, and long-term optimization retainers. You’re expected to advocate for best practices in performance, accessibility, and responsive behavior, and help the team spot risks early, streamline communication, and deliver confidently to clients.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail is critical — but equally important is your ability to lead QA thinking, maintain standards, and support other team members in understanding what great QA looks like. You’ll work closely with developers, project managers, and occasionally clients to ensure quality is embedded in everything we ship.
Key Responsibilities
Own the QA process across assigned projects — from initial review to launch
Understand and operate within the waterfall process for web development, including scoping, development handoffs, remediation cycles, UAT, and go-live
Proactively identify quality risks, blockers, or scope gaps and communicate them early to devs and PMs
Ensure that internal QA checklists are completed thoroughly and consistently
Lead QA efforts for ongoing optimization clients — verifying fixes, identifying regressions, and maintaining consistent quality across live environments
Document and report bugs clearly using Marker.io and Asana, with context and reproducible steps
Ensure fixes are re-tested and that full regression testing is done before approvals
Cross-check designs (Figma), specs, and build tickets to align expectations
Participate in internal team handoffs or review calls when needed
Share insights and propose process improvements within the QA function
Help uphold and evolve QA best practices across the team
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in web QA or similar roles, preferably in a fast-paced agency or tech environment
Deep understanding of responsive behavior, browser compatibility, and user experience expectations
Familiarity with web development workflows and waterfall-style project phases
Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and collaboration
Ability to work autonomously and lead the QA lifecycle on multiple projects
Comfort navigating ambiguous or changing project scopes and resolving blockers
Bonus: experience with accessibility testing, performance audits, or QA automation tools
Working Hours
The QA analyst will provide a fixed working schedule in advance, specifying their daily working hours.
Availability during these agreed-upon hours is mandatory for collaboration, meetings, and timely bug turnaround.
Meeting deadlines and communication responsiveness within these hours is required.

Candidates should be comfortable with:
Slack – team communication
Asana – task and project tracking
Webflow – visual development platform (training provided)
Marker.io – browser-based bug reporting
BrowserStack – cross-device and browser testing
Harvest — for time tracking; daily timesheet updates required
Soft Skills & Mindset
Demonstrates ownership and accountability — sees QA through, end to end
Proactive and solution-oriented in identifying and resolving quality risks
Clear communicator — surfaces issues early and provides actionable input
Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
Curious and thoughtful — contributes ideas to improve processes or tools
Balances quality standards with real-world project constraints
Performance & Growth
Quarterly performance reviews may be conducted at the manager’s discretion
Salaries and contractor rates are reviewed annually
Concerns around workload, expectations, or compensation should be brought directly to the QA Manager
What Success Looks Like
Projects move through QA smoothly with minimal missed issues
Developers and PMs trust your judgment and appreciate your input
You raise important concerns early and clearly
QA checklists are followed without shortcuts
