Job Description

About the job

We're looking for a Webflow developer who can own the build side of a client project end-to-end. You'll take a Figma file from our design team and turn it into a Webflow site that's clean, performant, animated well, technically sound, and easy for the client to manage themselves after we hand it off. You'll work directly with Parth on direction and with Sarthak on delivery.

We're not looking for someone who builds sites that work today and break in six months. We want someone who thinks about how the site holds up over time — how the CMS scales, how easy it is for the client's marketing team to add a new page without us, how the technical foundation supports SEO and AEO. A well-built site keeps clients with us longer; a fragile one ends the relationship.

What you'll do

- Build Webflow sites from Figma using either the Lumos or MAST framework. If you're already on one, we'll get you onto the other.

- Write custom JS and GSAP for animations, scroll interactions, and anything Webflow's native interactions can't handle cleanly

- Set up API connections — CMS integrations, form integrations (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Make/Zapier), third-party data, whatever the project needs

- Structure CMS collections, references, and dynamic templates so the client can actually manage their site after we ship — not just us

- Get the technical SEO foundation right: clean semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, schema markup (Organization, Product, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, etc.), correct metadata, sitemap, robots.txt, OG tags, canonical URLs

- Build accessible by default — WCAG 2.2 AA on every page, including the Webflow-specific gaps the Designer doesn't cover (focus states, ARIA, keyboard navigation, color contrast, alt text)

- Run our QA process before handoff: cross-browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, mobile), responsive across breakpoints, asset optimization (WebP + responsive variants), CMS naming and structure, custom code documentation

- Find your own ways to move faster with AI — we don't mind which tools you use. The point is that your process is efficient and you ship more work in less time

- Join client calls when needed (we won't throw you in cold)

What we need

- 2+ years building sites on Webflow as your primary tool

- You know Webflow in and out — CMS, components, interactions, logic, localization, custom code embeds, the limits of the platform

- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You can read the code Webflow generates and you can write your own when needed.

- GSAP fluency. Scroll-triggered animations, timelines, custom easing — you've actually shipped this stuff.

- Experience with API connections from Webflow — either through native integrations, Make/Zapier, or custom code hitting external APIs

- You've worked with a component-based Webflow framework — Lumos, MAST, Client-First, or similar

- Technical SEO fluency. Schema markup / JSON-LD, semantic HTML, heading hierarchy, metadata, sitemap, robots, internal linking, structured data. You know what gets indexed and what doesn't, and you've actually shipped schema in production.

- Accessibility is a baseline for you, not an afterthought. WCAG 2.2 AA, ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management. You know where Webflow falls short on accessibility and how to fix it.

- You build for the client to manage after handoff. Clear CMS structure, sensible field names, reusable components, documented custom code. You think two years ahead, not just to launch day.

- Fluent with AI tools in your dev workflow. We don't care which ones — Claude, Cursor, whatever you've found works. For animation logic, debugging, custom JS, structuring complex CMS setups. If you're not using AI to code faster yet, this role isn't for you.

- Written English is solid. You'll be in client Slacks and on calls.

How we work

- Async-first. Slack + Notion + Figma + Loom

- One weekly call with the team

- Project calls with clients when needed (usually 1–2 per project per week)

How to apply

Send the following to parth@digihotshot.com with the subject "Webflow Developer — [Your Name]":

1. 3–5 Webflow sites you've built. Live URLs, your role on each, and what was custom vs. native Webflow. Send read-only webflow links to alteast 3 of them

2. One project where you wrote meaningful custom code — GSAP, an API integration, anything non-trivial. Share what you built and why.

3. One example of how you handled technical SEO or accessibility on a project — schema you shipped, an accessibility fix that mattered, or a CMS structure you built that survived a year of client use.

4. How you currently use AI tools in your dev process. Be specific — not "I use ChatGPT sometimes." Show us.

5. Loom (max 3 min) walking us through the Webflow project you're most proud of — including a look inside the Designer, not just the live site. We watch every Loom.

We read every application. If you're a fit, you'll hear from us within a week.
